St Ninian's Isle Shetland Silver Pennanular Brooch

A lovely small Shetland Silver brooch with fine-cast detail in the panels.

The St Ninian's hoard was discovered by a schoolboy in 1958 on the site of the 12th Century St Ninian's Chapel in the Shetland Isles.

This brooch at 25mm across looks great worn on a lapel.
